For more than a decade, Hometown Heroes Night has grown into one of the region's premier fundraising events supporting first responders. What started as a single-night initiative has evolved into a lasting tradition of community impact.

Through the generosity of sponsors, donors, fans, and community partners, Hometown Heroes Night has raised more than $685,000 to support local first responder and emergency service organizations.

Funding from Hometown Heroes Night has helped support 114 grant requests, providing equipment, training, technology, and lifesaving resources to agencies throughout the region.
Since 2013, Hometown Heroes Night has brought together first responders, families, fans, sponsors, and community partners for a meaningful night of hockey and giving back.
Each year, local emergency service organizations submit fund requests for critical needs such as lifesaving equipment, medical supplies, rescue tools, protective gear, training resources, and more. Proceeds raised through the event help fund grants awarded to organizations serving communities across the region.
Funds raised through Hometown Heroes Night support grant requests from local first responder and emergency service organizations. Past funding has helped provide items such as AEDs, thermal imaging cameras, rescue equipment, communication tools, protective gear, medical supplies, and other critical resources.
Ways to Support Hometown Heroes Night
❋ Purchase TicketsAttend the game and help support the Hometown Heroes Fund. $5 of each $15 ticket purchased with promo code HERO goes back to support local first responders and emergency service organizations. Tickets on sale at 10AM on September 1.
❋ Sponsor the EventSponsorships are a major part of helping us reach our fundraising goals. Sponsors receive recognition during Hometown Heroes Night while helping fund critical equipment, training, and resources for local heroes.
❋ VolunteerHelp make Hometown Heroes Night a success by assisting with event setup, registration, fundraising activities, silent auctions, community outreach, and other volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Funding Opportunities for Local Heroes

Hometown Heroes Inc aims to raise money for life saving equipment, training, and other critical resources for first responders throughout our community. Applications open each year in the fall and are open to organizations within a 60-mile radius to Fargo, ND. Organizations have a maximum request limit of $7,500 and must detail out what will be purchased with the funds, what it will be used for, and the impact it will have on our community.

All grant applications are reviewed and evaluated by a committee comprised of local industry experts, first responders, and community partners. Funding recommendations are based on community impact, demonstrated need, and the anticipated benefit of the requested equipment, training, or resources.

Proceeds raised through Hometown Heroes fundraising events are distributed following the annual grant review process. Organizations are ranked based on committee scoring, with funding awarded beginning with the highest-ranked application and continuing until all available funds have been allocated.
Each year, Hometown Heroes provides grant funding to eligible first responder and emergency service organizations throughout the region. Agencies within a 60-mile radius to Fargo, ND may apply for funding to support critical equipment, training, supplies, technology, and other resources that enhance public safety and emergency response capabilities.
