About the Event

  • Join us for the inaugural Bags & Badges Tournament, a fun-filled afternoon of bags, food, live music, raffles, and community spirit, all in support of Hometown Heroes.

  • Register your two-person team to compete in the Bags & Badges Tournament. Teams are $30/team. Community members are welcome to come and watch for free.

  • All proceeds from the event directly support Hometown Heroes.

Bags & Badges is Hometown Heroes' newest signature fundraising event, bringing together first responders, businesses, and community members for a day of friendly competition with a cornhole tournament and giving back.

Whether you're competing on the boards, cheering from the sidelines, or supporting through sponsorships and donations, every participant plays a role in strengthening our communities. Proceeds from the event directly support the Hometown Heroes Fund, helping provide grants for lifesaving equipment, training, and critical resources for first responder and emergency service organizations throughout our region.

We're excited to launch what we hope will become an annual community tradition that celebrates teamwork, connection, and the heroes who serve us every day. Community members are welcome to attend the event, enjoy the festivities, and support the cause free of charge.

Teams of 2 can register to play for $30/team. Registration will be open through September 13 and is required only for tournament participants. Limited to 30 teams. Register early to secure your spot.

Sponsorships are a major part of helping us reach our fundraising goals. Sponsors receive recognition during the Battle of the Badges event while helping fund critical equipment, training, and resources for local heroes.
